You didn’t do it for glory, or accolades, or the “Thank you for your services” that we now receive. But we did, and those who didn’t don’t know what it feels like to truly be a part of something bigger than themselves.
I served, and I will forever be grateful and thankful (1) that I did, and (2) when I did. I don’t bare nearly the burden that so many Veterans do.
